Sometimes we allow walk-ins, as long as there is enough room left in the class. Otherwise, it's best to schedule - we also offer this class as a private lesson option if a class time does not work out for you.

***CLASS is $35.00 plus tax -- BEADS are an additional cost and price will depend on beads of choice. Beads will be chosen and paid for at the time of the class.

Students will walk away from this class with a meaningful wrist mala made with beautiful semiprecious beads! Students will choose their beads and string color at the time of the lesson. During this class students will learn how to do two-strand, no clasp knotting without the aid of a tool. If students choose to add a tassel to their mala, they will also learn how to make their tassel out of embroidery string. BEADS ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THIS COST AND WILL NEED TO BE PURCHASED ON THE DAY OF THE LESSON, so allow an extra budget of choice when you come to the class.

Maximum number of students is 4.

Please keep in mind that beads are small and may be hard to handle for some hands and eyes. If you have prescription glasses or readers, please bring them. Magnification will be offered if needed but we only have a limited supply..

  • Duration: 2 hours
  • Skill Level: All levels
  • Age: 13+
  • Price: $35.00 (plus tax) for lesson (price includes instruction, string, and 1 Guru bead)
    • $5.00 and UP for the beads in addition to the $35.00. Prices of stone strands range from as little as $5.00 up to as high as $60.00 depending on the stones chosen, as each varies in quality and in rarity. Stones will be purchased at the time of the class.

    • You will also receive a 10% class discount on any tools, materials or extra beads you purchase after the lesson.

Please arrive 10 minutes early to get settled. Tardiness may result in the loss of your seat and the rescheduling of your class.

  • All classes are NON-REFUNDABLE. Refunds will not be given in the event that a customer cancels their reservation. However, a customer could use the amount towards a future class or lesson. If there is a threat of inclement weather or if an instructor is out due to illness, customers will be given a credit for another class of equal value.
